Five of Wands

The Five of Wands is a study of conflict and competition.  At first glance at the card you might assume that a battle is going on, but looking closer you can see that there is no actual contact.  This confrontation can be about different ideas, competition for the same prize or even brain storming with everyone speaking their mind.  All of the participants are dressed differently, this might indicate their different backgrounds or belief systems.   All conflict is not bad, good ideas can come from enthusiastic support of different ideas.  The problem here might be that no one is listening to the others.
